I’m a happily married mother of 5, and grandma of 2. I work full-time in an elementary school with special needs children, and love it. Children have so much to teach us. Some of my favorite things to do are: date my husband, read classic old books, and sing. I sing in a large local choir of 150 voices. I love my family, and my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. You can know Mormonism is true by doing a few simple things on your own. Talking to the missionaries in your area, or talking to your Mormon friends is a good start. They are wonderful at answering questions, and trying to fill in all the blanks. But, that can only take you so far. Get a copy of the Book of Mormon for yourself. Read it! Think about what you’re reading. You’ll find that by reading the book for yourself, your mind will be clear. Your heart will feel something. It will all start to sound so right to you. The last thing you need to do is pray. Ask God to tell you in your heart and in your mind if Mormonism is the truth. He will answer you. What is the Relief Society? Relief Society is an integral part of who I am as a Mormon. On Sunday I go to a meeting during church where only the women meet and learn more about Jesus, his gospel, and God’s plan for his children. We talk about how to be better wives, mothers and friends. As a woman in Relief Society I do my part to help in the community by bringing meals to those in need, or just sitting with other women who may be lonely or suffering in another way <b>…</b>
